In today’s society, everything is digital and computerized.
We can take pictures or make videos with our phones/tablets. Art is also getting Digital, and can be called "I Art". "I Art" is adding a new layer of Art, not competing but opening a new option, for those who like the amazing possibilities of layering and special effects. We can transmit a message through digital Art, different feelings in one single picture.
Digital Art can be defined as anything of a visual nature that artists created with the aid of a computer. An Artist can also be a great Creator. It is like any other Art. "I Art" is the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination.
It is subjective and stimulating and seeks to enlighten and entertain.
Art is not about the tools used to create it, but rather the vision, message, or emotion of the artist. Photography is a medium through which artist's may create art. Likewise, a computer is just a medium or tool through which an artist can express his/her vision of line, form, color, composition and rhythm. It is radically new, and yet many of its facets have grown out of traditional art practice.
Fortunately public awareness and interest in digital art is growing - museums, galleries, and contemporary art centres are now showing new media artworks
Digital art is quickly becoming a reputable form of art in our society. It is derived from the concept of traditional art forms, but has the components of new technology. There are even museums that are solely dedicated to showcasing different forms of digital art.
Art has crossed all boundaries because it is one of the few things where the viewer can solely define meaning.
Digital art has not only expanded the defining of art but has increased the accessibility of art to the world.
